Flat MBR
A flat membrane bioreactor (MBR) is a type of wastewater treatment system that uses flat sheet membranes to filter and separate solid materials from liquid in a biological process. The system combines biological treatment and membrane filtration into a single step to achieve high-quality effluent.
MBR (Membrane Bioreactor) process is a combination of biological wastewater treatment and filtration. Biodegradable pollutants are reduced using bacteria and microorganisms. Following biological treatment, activated sludge is separated from the treated water by flat sheet membrane with a nominal pore size of 0.1 microns densely distributed along the membrane surface.
Our products improve membrane packing density by our unique element fabrication technology, then that leads 30 percent increase in capacity at the same footprint and lower air scour requirement of rigid plate MBR models.
Flat membrane bioreactors have several advantages over conventional wastewater treatment methods. They require less space, produce higher quality effluent, and generate less sludge. They are also highly efficient at removing nitrogen and phosphorus, which are common pollutants in wastewater.
