Reinforced Ultra Filtration Hollow Fiber Membrane for Water Purification with PVDF material

 

Ultrafiltration (UF) is a variety of membrane filtration in which forces like pressure or concentration gradients lead to a separation through a semipermeable membrane. Suspended solids and solutes of high molecular weight are retained in the so-called retentate, while water and low molecular weight solutes pass through the membrane in the permeate (filtrate). This separation process is used in industry and research for purifying and concentrating macromolecular (103 – 106 Da) solutions, especially protein solutions.

Hollow fiber ultrafiltration membrane is an asymmetric membrane made of a polymer material by special technology. It is a hollow capillary tube wall with microporous, under the action of pressure and the liquid flow inside the membrane, the solvent or small molecules can pass through the membrane, by collecting and become super filtrate, and one of the high polymer material (protein, nucleic acid, polysaccharide, etc.), and colloidal particles are stopped on the membrane surface, was taken away by circulating fluid concentrate and be concentrate, so as to achieve the separation of matter, and the purpose of enrichment and purification.
